Dairy Character he is showing more width carried
through from chest to escutcheon and in rear showing
a higher wider arch-shaped escutcheon,
E is over C
in Body Capacity showing a longer barrel with larger
increase from heart girth to flank, in General
Appearance showing a longer lean neck,
C is over F
in General Appearance in his topline over his chine
and has straighter legs,
F is over G in General
Appearance has a smoother shoulder assembly and in
rear more open arch-shaped escutcheon,
G is over A
in Body Capacity being larger in barrel increasing
in depth from heart girth to flank, in General
Appearance a more correct rump angle,
A is over B in
General Appearance having a more level topline and
in the rear a wider arch-shaped escutcheon,
B is
commended for his well sprung ribs and his straight

Today this class of senior yearling
bucks is placing C, E, D, F, G, A, B.
C over E for the advantage that he
has in body capacity, with tremendous depth and width
throughout. Also in general appearance with feet pointed
slightly more forward.
E over D in the area of general
appearance being stronger in the pasterns, more level
from hips to pins, and front legs set farther back under
the withers.
D over F in the area of general
appearance with greater length and levelness of topline,
and tighter in the toes. Also in dairy character with an
escutcheon that is higher and has a more natural arch
shape.
F over G in the area of body
capacity with greater depth of rear rib. Also in dairy
character being sharper about the withers.
G over A in the area of general
appearance being more upstanding, and blending more
smoothly from the neck into the withers. Also in dairy
character with greater height to the escutcheon.
A over B in the area of general
appearance being more level across the topline, slightly
stronger in the pasterns, and front feet set farther
back under the withers.
B is to be commended for his width
of chest floor, and depth or rear rib.
